SWOT (strength – Weaknesses – Opportunities – Threats) analysis is a useful technique to understand your strengths and weaknesses and to identify opportunities that are available to you in your market, as well as the threats you face.

SWOT analysis is a tool that identifies strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of an organization. More specifically, the SWOT is a simple model that assesses both what an organization can and cannot do, its opportunities and threats of its market.

The method of SWOT analysis is from an environmental analysis, to separate information from internal source at the company or organization (strengths and weaknesses) and questions on the external environment of the company (opportunities and threats). This completed the SWOT analysis determines which may help the company to achieve its goals and the obstacles to be overcome or minimize, to achieve the desired results.

The SWOT method was originally developed for the industry. Today, it is also used in work, community health, development projects, education, and even for career development. SWOT analysis can be applied to all areas. With regard to the objectives of this e-book, since we are in the customer relationship approach to develop the sales, we will focus on this analysis in the environment of a business to its commercial development.
